Whether you want to plant up a complete new garden, a single border or even a container for your patio, we have the plants you need, and there are always experienced, qualified staff available to help you.

Shrubs

Shrubs give a garden structure. A selection of evergreen & deciduous varieties can give colour and interest all through the year.

You can be sure to find a great range in stock at all times and plenty of advice to help you make the right choices for your soil and situation.

Acer palmatum 'Crimson Queen' - one of the most spectacular Japanese Maples with finely cut leaves of a rich burgundy red

Trees

We stock trees to suit every situation, and whether you have a small patio garden or an acre of land we can help you choose the best varieties to enhance garden, give summer shade, and provide a perch for the birds.

Liquidamber 'Worplesdon'
Sweet Gum - a splendid choice, - maple-like leaves that colour brilliantly in autumn.

Roses

There are so many fine varieties to choose from with stunning colours and long flowering season.

We keep a good range of the fabulous New English roses introduced by David Austin and more than 20 varieties of climbers and ramblers along with HT's, floribundas, miniature and ground cover varieties.

Rose 'Bonica' - clear pink flowers throughout the summer on a healthy spreading bush.

Conifers

So useful and yet so often underrated.

A huge range of shapes and colours, and generally very easy to grow. Useful for screening, mixed borders, conifer beds and container growing.

We keep a wide range of both upright and ground cover conifers in stock.

Climbing Plants

The solution for covering unsightly sheds & oil tanks as well as clothing walls & pergolas.

Growing climbers up through trees and tall shrubs will give cascades of flower, and you can have colour all through the year with careful selection of varieties.

We stock more than 30 varieties of Clematis plus Honeysuckles, Parthenocissus (Virginia Creeper), Wisteria and others.

Herbaceous Perennials

Unrivalled for adding colour to the garden.

There are varieties for sunny borders, dry shady beds, waterlogged soils and windswept sites, and you can rely on us to help you choose the ideal plants for your garden.

Alstromaeria 'Polka' - one of the new compact varieties of this brilliant border plant. Long lasting colour and great for cut flowers.

Fruit Trees and Bushes

Ripe fruit, eaten freshly picked from the tree or bush cannot be beaten for flavour, and it's so good for you.

Most fruit types are really easy to grow and will crop for many years. So don't delay, the sooner you plant, the sooner you will be picking.

Herbs

There has been a huge increase in interest in using herbs for medicinal and culinary use.

Many are very attractive garden plants for borders and pots, and attract beneficial insects into your garden, helping to control insect pests biologically.

We stock a good range of varieties including many less common varieties.

Camellias

Great value for money and are ideal for shady patios and basements.  With careful choice of varieties you can enjoy flowers from November until well into late spring.

We stock a good range of varieties, particularly during late winter and early spring.

Camellia King's Ransom
